I have a question for those of you who follow this blog.I have been working on the last post about Gen. Cadwalader for ever. Every time I would think I had corrected the problem and would publish it the text would not be in the right place. I check the preview and it is fine but then BAM!!! it moves when published. I won't even go into how many times I tried to get it to the "read more" stage.
Here is my question:
When you see on your site that I have published a post do you get another notification every time I edit that same post and hit publish again. If you do I am sorry because you probably got 20 notifications for that one post alone.
So let me know please.
Thanks for your help.

Hey Lori
Usually only the first time a post is published will the alert go out to blog aggregators, blog readers and email. This doesn't happen for every little edit and reposting (or I'd be in trouble too!)
I often get frustrated with Blogger in that it isn't tryly WYSIWYG ("what you see is what you get"). Here's what I do: I start out working in the HTML tab and enter my text. Then I switch to the Compose tab and do my formatting. I then hit Preview to get a better picture of how the post might look then I hit Publish.

I do not think that I get more than one notification about your posts. I always edit my posts after publishing, so I really hope people don't get several notifications. So I think you are okay, though I totally understand your frustration.
Thanks so much. Whew. That is a relief.
I do check the preview but the text looks like it should be normal there and then when I post it the
text
is
something
like
this.
I do know how to use html elements and still this wasn't working. I have also done the "read more" in my other posts yet couldn't get it to work this time hence the loooong post.
Hey, you wouldn't happen to know if that hunk in the photo is single, would ya?
I am sure I can set you two kids up Eloh. What day works for you and he will need enough notice to refill his Cialis prescription.
I have only received one post. Thanks for coming by and posting. BTW I love your using signatures. I love anything that shows parts if the personalities. Have you looked at reading signatures and personalites?
